In September 2024, we applied to the Industrial Innovation Accelerator project INDUSTRYLAB III with our solution: Quality control based on image analysis using neural networks. Out of over 100 submitted projects, only 10 were selected for further recruitment stages, including ours. This is a significant recognition for us and a testament to the exceptional innovativeness of our solution and its vast potential.
Our solution is an intelligent quality control system for products, which can be integrated with existing production lines or used as a stand-alone solution. The system relies on image analysis using neural networks and AI. It consists of an industrial vision system, a unit responsible for image analysis, and a workstation for operators providing feedback. The solution delivers detailed information about the analyzed product, employing various neural network architectures. Thanks to AI and the ability to learn from feedback, the system continuously adapts to a changing environment.
There are vision-based quality control systems on the market that use AI, offered by companies like Keyence and Cognex. However, these global solutions feature closed architectures and limited AI capabilities, making them less efficient. Our product leverages the latest neural network models, increasing flexibility and adaptability to dynamic changes in needs and conditions.
Although currently designed primarily for the automotive industry, the versatility of our solution allows it to be applied across various industrial sectors. Our system effectively minimizes defects, optimizes production processes, and reduces the consumption of raw materials and energy. It also contributes to lowering greenhouse gas emissions and pollution, supporting sustainable development goals.
We anticipate that this acceleration program will expedite the commercialization of our solution, particularly in the industrial manufacturing and automotive sectors, allowing us to achieve commercial readiness more quickly. Through the program, we will have the opportunity to test our solution in foreign markets, focusing on the automotive sector. This will enable us to adapt our product to international standards and requirements, enhancing its competitiveness. We aim to refine our image processing and analysis technologies as well as neural networks to better meet market demands. Furthermore, with the funds obtained for product development within Europe, we will be able to invest in the ongoing development of our solution, transforming the finished technology into a globally marketable product.
Thanks to the Industrial Innovation Accelerator program INDUSTRYLAB III, we secured funding of 400 thousand PLN. This significant grant represents an excellent starting point, providing us with the opportunity to test our solution, which until now has only existed in theory. With these funds, we can accelerate the development of the technology and tailor it to market realities, thereby increasing our chances of commercial success.
